God Finishes What He Starts

Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman L'Chaim Messianic Congregation Wellington FL

Death will not have the final word.

Will God take care of his children? Yes He will.

Will He keep his promises? Yes He will.

Will He one day make us fully into the image of MESSIAH? Yes He will.

These words are not idle speculation. He gave us the RUAH HAKODESH  to guarantee the complete fulfillment of every part of every promise.

The Holy Spirit is the “first installment” of our salvation. His presence in our lives guarantees that the blessings we receive today are but a foretaste of what God will one day reveal to us. Though we may often doubt it, God always finishes what He starts. He will complete the work of redemption.

Hold on to that thought, DEAR ONES. God finishes what He starts. You can count on that.

PRAYER:
Almighty God, in a world filled with broken promises, it’s good to know that You are a God who finishes what You start. Thank you for the Holy Spirit, Who is the deposit guaranteeing what is to COME.

Without YESHUA’S power—well, it is a real struggle just to keep on the right “roads” and to stop when you need to.  If that describes you, then you need to know that YESHUA wants to come into your life. Won’t you invite Him in? And if you’ve already asked HIM in, are you letting Him lead?  Are you giving Him control of all of your life?  Is there some fear or temptation you’re dealing with on your own?

Right now would be a great time to correct those things. PRAY PRAY PRAY  — give it ALL over to YESHUA. Give Him the driver’s seat. Commit to let God lead and control.

Blessings,

Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman

A Bride for Isaac

A Bride for Isaac

A Bride for Isaac

Blog from Michael Lipson

Abraham sent this servant Eliezer on a mission to find a bride for his son Isaac. Let me tell the story in the words that Eliezer told to Rebekah’s brother Laban.

“I am Abraham’s servant. The LORD has blessed my master greatly…and he has given him flocks and herds, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys. Now my master made me swear saying, you shall not take for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I dwell, but you shall go to my father’s house and to my family, and take a wife for my son.” Gen. 24:34-38.

Eliezer travelled by camel from Kirjath Arba to Ur of the Chaldeans a distance of about 1000 miles.

The story continues in Eliezer’s words to Laban: “And this day I came to the well and said, ‘O LORD God of my master Abraham, if you now will prosper the way in which I go, behold I stand by the well of water, and it shall come to pass that when the virgin comes out to draw water, and I say to her, Please give me a little water from your pitcher to drink, and she says to me, ‘Drink, and I will draw water for your camels also’ — let her be the woman whom the LORD has appointed for my masters son.”

Before Eliezer finished praying, Rebekah came to the well and said and did exactly as Eliezer had proposed. Rebekah agreed to go with Eliezer and her family consented. Eliezer returned with Rebekah and Isaac and Rebekah were married.

Note: 1) The test that Eliezer proposed related to the character the woman the LORD would choose for Isaac. 2) The name Eliezer means “God is my Helper.” 3) The story is a picture of the Father (Abraham) sending the Holy Spirit (Eliezer) to bring the bride – those destined to believe in Yeshua (Rebekah) to the bride groom (Yeshua).

Legally Righteous

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation, Lake Worth Florida, Palm Beaches
One day, the wrath of GOD will rightly fall on sinful mankind (Romans 5:8-10); but those who are justified by the blood of MESSIAH (accepted YESHUA as Savior) will be saved from that dreadful punishment!

Justification means that the FATHER accepts the death of His Son as full payment for our sins (Romans 3:23-26). YESHUA is a satisfactory substitute because He is the sinless Lamb of GOD! So we are declared righteous in GOD’S eyes.

Think of justification as a legal transaction in which YESHUA placed all our iniquities on His account and then paid it off in full! Now when GOD looks at us, all He sees is MESSIAH’S perfection; we are no longer guilty but are declared legally righteous, even if we don’t always act like it!

1 Corinthians  6:20
For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify GOD in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

What an awesome privilege to be righteous in GOD’S view! Now that does not mean we can go out and do anything we want! Remember, we are GOD’S children; so let’s not act like children of the devil! Let’s bring glory to ABBA THE FATHER.

Full Submission

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation, Lake Worth Florida, Palm Beaches

The Word tells us YESHUA was in “very nature GOD”! He left Heaven to become a man. While He was here on earth, He lived in full submission to His FATHER’S plans, with no restrictions or conditions. YESHUA gave GOD complete control over everything He did! He did this because He had perfect trust in the One who sent Him.

YESHUA knew that GOD’S decisions were based on divine love, mercy and justice! He always does what’s best for us. Also YESHUA obeyed to bring glory to the FATHER’S name (John 17:4).

We are to live the same way—-surrendering to GOD’S will! Let’s give Him the right to order our lives, including finances, family, friends, and even our fun! Give Him control over these things, and you will receive blessings from His Hand!

Philippians 2:6-7
Who, being in the form of GOD, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bond servant, and coming in the likeness of men.

Full submission of our lives to the FATHER is the only way to live THE victorious life! That’s how we glorify the FATHER and grow in MESSIAH and receive His favor!

Fiery Ordeals

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

A Very Blessed day to you from Pastor Bruce & Suzi!

Being a believer in Messiah Yeshua isn’t always easy. In fact, sometimes we’ll experience trials that truly test our faith and ability to trust in GOD.

In today’s Scripture, Peter refers to times of testing as “fiery ordeals”! He says we shouldn’t be surprised when hardships come our way.

It’s important to remember that GOD has a purpose for our trials and will see us through each step of the way.   Sometimes, our heavenly FATHER uses painful experiences to cleanse and purify us, His children.

See, trials are to drive us closer to God, and we can begin to focus more on Him and start to see things from His perspective!  He also uses them to strengthen our faith and our devotion to Him.

1 Peter 4:12
eloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.

In the midst of adversity, we might feel overwhelmed and discouraged. But once the storm has passed, we can often look back and see that the LORD’S providential hand carried us through.

Oh, indeed, yes! “PTL!”

In Yeshua’s Name. Amen.

With lots of prayers & love, shalom!
