Here are seven marks of godly sorrow:

True fellowship can only be built upon a solid foundation in the truth.

1. We are quick to make things right: No matter what changes in our lives, we HAVE to make it right!

2. We are anxious to clear our record of wrongdoing.

3. We are upset that our lives would contain such compromise.

4. We are alarmed over our sin.

5. We long to be restored to spiritual wholeness.

6. We are concerned for the preservation of the body of MESSIAH.

7. We are ready to do whatever is necessary to make things right. We want what breaks Yeshua’s heart to break our heart.
