L'Chaim Messianic Congregation Lake Worth Florida. Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman

It is known that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It starts our day off right with the fuel our bodies need!

Now, what about our hearts and minds? They also need fuel for our day.

We can fill each new day by beginning it with time set aside for our fellowship (prayer) and meditation on GOD’S Word. This is our spiritual nourishment!

Our Scripture today tells us David sought the LORD early each day with a yearning in his soul for GOD’S presence. Then he broke out with thanksgiving and praised the One who created him.

By setting aside time early in our day to get in GOD’S presence, talking to Him, and letting Him speak to us through His precious Word, we will find ourselves through the day filled with the joy of the LORD! Our hearts will be filled with gratitude and praise, just like King David.

Psalm 63:1
O God, You are my God, early will I seek you. May soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

Seeking the LORD early in our day not only nourishes our empty souls, it also increases our hunger for more of Him. As we stay mindful of Him throughout the day, we will enjoy greater and richer blessings!

With lots of prayers & love,

Shalom!
