Doubt is destructive! It fills us with uncertainty, makes us indecisive, and affects our ability to connect with GOD and receive His wisdom.
We need to understand that GOD loves us all the time, even when we are disobedient! His love for us does not change with our behavior. We can be certain of this because while we were still sinners, MESSIAH died for us.
Romans 5:8 (TLV)
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Messiah died for us.
That’s amazing grace!
The Word tells us GOD promises to forgive us when we confess our sins, so why do we have trouble with doubt about being forgiven?
Also GOD has called us to serve Him and promises to equip us with everything we need to do His Kingdom work He has chosen us to accomplish.
Ephesians 2:10 (TLV)
For we are His workmanship—created in Messiah Yeshua for good deeds, which God prepared beforehand so we might walk in them.
Yet, we doubt our abilities and make excuses why we can’t do what He has called us to do, just like Moses did in the following Scripture.
Exodus 4:10–12 (NLT)
But Moses pleaded with the Lord, “O Lord, I’m not very good with words. I never have been, and I’m not now, even though you have spoken to me. I get tongue-tied, and my words get tangled.”
Let me leave you with this thought: The opposite of doubt is faith!
Which word best describes your state of mind?
With lots of prayers & love,
Shalom!
