Doubt is destructive! It fills us with uncertainty, makes us indecisive, and affects our ability to connect with GOD and receive His wisdom.
We need to understand that GOD loves us all the time, even when we are disobedient! His love for us does not fluctuate with our behavior! We can be certain of this because while we were still sinners MESSIAH died for us (Romans 5:8). That’s amazing grace!
The Word tells us GOD promises to forgive us when we confess our sin, so why do we have trouble with doubt about being forgiven? Also GOD has called us to serve Him and promises to equip us with everything we need to do His Kingdom work He has chosen us to accomplish (Ephesians 2:10).
Yet, we doubt our abilities and make excuses why we can’t do what He has called us to do, just like Moses did in our Scripture today:
Exodus 4:10
Then Moses said to the Lord, “O my Lord, I am not eloquent neither before nor since you have spoken to your servant; but I am slow of speech and slow of tongue.”
The opposite of doubt is faith! Which word best describes your state of mind?
