God’s Viewpoint

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

Our culture is not one that teaches patience! Just watch the frustration of drivers behind a car that doesn’t start moving the instant the traffic light turns green. Because of a two-second delay, tempers flare and horns honk!

Have you ever gotten frustrated with the LORD when He hadn’t answered a prayer according to your time table?

Have you ever tried to manipulate a situation and present GOD with the solution and then asked for His blessings?

GOD’S delayed timing from our perspective is perfect timing from His viewpoint!

Our omniscient GOD, who is the Creator and ruler of time, can never be late! Waiting on the LORD will require faith!

Psalm 33:20
Our soul waits for the Lord, He is our help and our shield.

The solution to whatever problem you are facing is in GOD’S hands. By steadfastly clinging to the truth of His love for you, His knowledge of all things, and His power over every obstacle, you can put your trust in Him, walking by faith and not by sight.

When the timing is right, you will see proof of His faithfulness!

Passion and Purpose

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

As believers, our purpose and passion for living should be a testimony to the world around us!

So what is our purpose?

It is  simple; we were created to enjoy fellowship with GOD and to do His will that He planned for us!

He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Therefore, He must also be everything in between!

Knowing and understanding our purpose is the first step toward doing all GOD has planned for us.

When we understand our purpose, it becomes like our road map that leads us to our destiny in MESSIAH YESHUA.

Passion for our purpose will keep us going on the path GOD had intended for us while on this earth.

Philippians 3:12
Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on that I may lay hold of that for which MESSIAH YESHUA has also laid hold of me.

Do you know your purpose in life?

Paul is telling us here there is a specific, unique purpose in life for which MESSIAH took hold of us. Ask GOD to reveal to you what your unique purpose is so you can lay hold of all GOD has for you!

Book of Books

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

Scripture provides an accurate account of our heavenly FATHER’S character, actions and purposes. The cross is the central theme of the Old and New Covenants.

The Bible teaches us that man’s problem is sin. The only remedy is faith in the Son of GOD. Through the Word, we learn what happens at the moment of salvation; our sin’s penalty is paid in full, it’s power over us is broken, and the Holy Spirit becomes our daily companion.

Through knowledge of the Word, GOD shows us who He is, what He is doing and how the future will unfold for mankind (in the book of Revelation)!

Hebrews 4:12
For the Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart.

This Book of Books “Bible” is intended to lead us into a growing personal relationship with our FATHER and  also to empower us for fruitful service as MESSIAH’S ambassadors while on this earth. What place does it have in your life?

Expressions of Love

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

When GOD created the heavens and earth, He wasn’t just trying to keep busy or do something constructive with His time. Look around, everything you see He created just for you. All of creation is an expression of His true love for us!

Stop to think every time you see the sun rise each morning, watch the rain falling on this earth, look at the carpet of lush green grass and all the beautiful flowers that seem like they are smiling at you; it’s all for us to enjoy! In our verses today, the apostle Paul knew how powerful and important a revelation of GOD’S love is.

ESPHESIANS 3:17-19
“…that MESSIAH may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width, length, depth and height to know the love of MESSIAH which passed knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.”

Meditate on these Scriptures today. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you this awesome love the FATHER has for you, and receive HIS FULLNESS!

Day of Judgment

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

In past messages, we have discovered the wonders of Heaven together and the joy of spending eternity with our heavenly FATHER.

Accepting YESHUA as Savior is our blessed assurance we will make it to Heaven; the Word tells us that truth!                But salvation (accepting YESHUA) is about more than getting into Heaven. It’s a lifelong process of becoming more like HIM while we are here on earth.

In fact, on Judgement Day (our Scripture for today), we will be asked to give an account for the way we used our opportunities, abilities and resources! GOD gives His children (believers in MESSIAH YESHUA ) different types of abilities, amounts of wealth, gifts and blessings. What matters to GOD is the way we make use of them.

Are we selfish using them for our own good?

Or are we generously using these gifts to serve YESHUA?

We will be held accountable and will be rewarded for the ways we invested our lives while here on earth! Even so, Heaven will be our home, that issue was settled when we accepted Yeshua as Savior.

2 Corinthians 5:10
For we must all appear before the judgement seat of MESSIAH , that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done whether good or bad.

Think of all your resources and how you are utilizing them for GOD’S glory! It’s our responsibility to be faithful servants, doing what GOD has called us to do.
