Encouraging Others

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

One of the easiest ways to express love to others is to help them feel valuable. Stop to think, most people we know do not have a sense of their infinite value as a child of GOD! The thought that GOD loves them and sees them as precious has never entered their minds.

Satan works overtime making people feel devalued and worthless, but we can help remove those lies by building people up and encouraging them!

One way to do this is with a sincere compliment. Nothing major, just a little remark like: I value our friendship or you look so pretty today or I love your smile!

How meaningful that can be to someone. A little bit of love and care goes a long way!

Rom. 14:19
Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another.

This act of edification isn’t time consuming or costly but is so valuable to the building up of GOD’S creation ( you & me)!

Reach out today and spread the love of YESHUA; encourage someone. It only takes a minute!

Remedy for Fear

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

We all need a heart revelation of GOD’S true love for us! We can’t just know in our head that GOD loves us, it must become a life-changing heart revelation.

Through this revelation we can have freedom from fear. When our circumstances are good, it’s not hard to believe that GOD loves us, but when things turn for the worst, we are tempted to think He doesn’t care! Then fear comes against our mind and attempts to rob us of our faith.

Satan will do his best to assure us that GOD’S love isn’t there for us. He’ll plant lies in our minds like: “You must have done something wrong or GOD’S mad at you now!”

When we have a heart revelation of GOD’S perfect love, there is nothing in the world that can make us afraid.

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But, he who fears has not been made perfect in love.

It is impossible to fear failure, rejection, lack or anything else if you really know GOD loves you. His love covers everything!

Vessels of Love

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

We learn of the unconditional love our Creator has for us. That amazing love flows TO us and then it should flow THROUGH us to others. GOD’S perfect love is brought to completion when we learn to love one another.

This love was given to us freely through MESSIAH YESHUA, and we can do nothing to earn it or secure it.

As we receive this love, we are to turn around and give it back to ABBA. We do that by worshipping Him with our life, spending time in His presence, studying His Word, praying and praising Him for His mercy and grace that He pours out upon us.

That love perfected in you should flow through you to those around you so this will complete the cycle!

1 John 4:12
“No one has seen God at any time. But if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.”

We are to be vessels of GOD’S love in our sphere of influence! Who among you needs to feel GOD’S love today?

Smile for Yeshua

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

Our scripture today talks of a cheerful countenance! What exactly is a countenance? It is your face and the way you look! GOD is very concerned about how we look because either we are walking advertisements for YESHUA or we are walking advertisements for Satan! This is why it is important that we learn how to have a cheerful countenance and a pleasant look on our face.

When you are smiling you put those around you at ease! Smiling makes others feel comfortable and secure, while a sour look on your face will make others feel discomfort and insecure!

Proverbs 15:13
A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance; but, a broken heart crushes the spirit.

All of our problems aren’t caused by the devil; they could be the result of the way we feel or act! Cheer up and learn to relax, and most of all, keep a smile on your face. It will make you feel better (including everyone around you)!

Smile for YESHUA today!
