Never Give Up

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation Lake Worth Florida. Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman

Let’s remember that life will always consist of problems, frustrations and difficulties! That’s just life! So, knowing that we can’t make all our problems go away, what do we do?

First, we must remain steadfast and persevere! In other words, “Never give up!”

The victory is in refusing to quit. Once we have received YESHUS as our SAVIOR and the LORD of our life, the RUACH comes to dwell inside us. He is there to do His great work in us in the heat of our struggles! He will lead us through anything if we’ll just hang in there and follow His lead. This means being diligent in prayer, unwavering in faith and determined to stand firmly on GOD’S Word and His promises to us.

Colossians 2:6–7
As you therefore have received MESSIAH YESHUA the Lord, so walk in Him; rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.

GOD may be doing His greatest work in you through your problems! Don’t let the enemy trick you into giving up; you’ll miss your blessing!

Never Give Up!

With lots of prayers & love,

Shalom!

Legally Righteous

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation Lake Worth Florida. Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman

One day, the wrath of GOD will rightly fall on sinful mankind (Romans 5:8-10); but those who are justified by the blood of MESSIAH (accepted YESHUA as Savior) will be saved from that dreadful punishment!

Justification means that ABBA THE FATHER, accepts the death of His Son as full payment for our sins (Romans 3:23-26).

YESHUA is a satisfactory substitute for us to THE FATHER because He is the sinless “Lamb of GOD”! So we are declared righteous in GOD’S eyes when we accept YESHUA as Savior!

Think of justification as a legal transaction in which YESHUA placed all our iniquities on His account and then paid them all in full!

Now, when FATHER GOD looks at us, all he sees is MESSIAH’S  perfection, and we are no longer guilty but are declared legally righteous, even if we don’t always act like it.

1 Corinthians 6:20
For you were bought at a price, therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

What an awesome privilege to be righteous in GOD’S view!

Now, that does not mean we can go out and do anything we want! Remember, we are GOD’S children, so let’s not act like children of the devil!

In everything we do, let it bring glory to our Heavenly FATHER!

With lots of prayers & love,

Shalom!

Spiritual Nourishment

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation Lake Worth Florida. Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman

It is known that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It starts our day off right with the fuel our bodies need!

Now, what about our hearts and minds? They also need fuel for our day.

We can fill each new day by beginning it with time set aside for our fellowship (prayer) and meditation on GOD’S Word. This is our spiritual nourishment!

Our Scripture today tells us David sought the LORD early each day with a yearning in his soul for GOD’S presence. Then he broke out with thanksgiving and praised the One who created him.

By setting aside time early in our day to get in GOD’S presence, talking to Him, and letting Him speak to us through His precious Word, we will find ourselves through the day filled with the joy of the LORD! Our hearts will be filled with gratitude and praise, just like King David.

Psalm 63:1
O God, You are my God, early will I seek you. May soul thirsts for You, my flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.

Seeking the LORD early in our day not only nourishes our empty souls, it also increases our hunger for more of Him. As we stay mindful of Him throughout the day, we will enjoy greater and richer blessings!

With lots of prayers & love,

Shalom!

Noise & Busyness

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation Lake Worth Florida. Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman

Have you ever wondered what impulse makes people want to break the silence of entering a quiet home by putting on the TV or radio?

These sounds are a temporary need to not feel alone!

GOD desires an intimate relationship with each person, so He created us with a yearning for His presence!

Though He alone can fill that void, people attempt to satisfy their longing with everything else (relationships, activities, etc.). But filling that spot with anything other than the LORD is a short-term solution! The Bible urges us to stop our frenzied search for satisfaction in what the world offers and instead recognize that we should turn to YESHUA!

Yet, so many of us pursue substitutes for His presence (friends, hobbies and busy schedules). We gobble up our time and leave nothing available to spend quiet time with the LORD!

Psalm 42:1
As the deer pants for the water brooks so pants my soul for you, O Lord.

Nothing besides the LORD can adequately fill the spot in our life that GOD has assigned for Himself!

All that noise and busyness will only satisfy for a little while. Let’s give GOD the time that is due Him as our Creator who loves us unconditionally.

With lots of prayers & love,

Shalom!

Bright Future

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation Lake Worth Florida. Pastor Bruce and Suzi Elman

People who have a sad past need to be able to believe in a bright future! It’s all about vision. Let’s ask ourselves today, “Do I have vision?”

Vision is something we see in our minds (a mental sight). It may be something GOD plants in us supernaturally (through the Holy Spirit) or something we see on purpose. It involves the way we think about our past, future and ourselves.

Don’t be afraid of believing because you don’t want to be disappointed; it doesn’t cost us anything to believe!

Ask GOD for a vision to pursue, and believe that something good is going to happen. Remember whatever we want to do, we can accomplish through MESSIAH YESHUA.

Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.

Proverbs 29:18
Where there is no vision (no redemptive revelation of God), the people perish; but he who keeps the law, blessed is he.

Today, let’s allow GOD’S redemptive revelation lead us away from the dead ends of life and give us a vision for a bright future.

With lots of prayers & love,

Shalom!
