Final Victory

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation, Lake Worth Florida, Palm Beaches

Today’s Scripture is from Paul’s letter to Timothy. Paul is encouraging Timothy to face difficulty as a good soldier. Telling him that implies that he is in a battle! This battle started a long time ago, even before Adam and Eve’s fall in the Garden of Eden.

It started when Satan and the other angels (now known as demons) rebelled against almighty GOD. They established their own kingdom and waged war with GOD! And ever since Adam and Eve’s disobedience of eating the forbidden fruit (which corrupted all mankind), every human being ever born has a nature bent away from the LORD and is in great need of a Savior (our YESHUA)!

Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this age (Ephesians 6:12), check it out!

2 Tim. 2:3
You therefore must endure hardships as a good soldier of  MESSIAH YESHUA.

Ungodliness fills our society. Even though it seems at times Satan is winning, we who are saved have the assurance we belong to GOD, who is greater! Read the end of the book (Book of Revelation)! We have the final victory through MESSIAH YESHUA! Praise our soon coming KING OF KINGS!

Rewards of Waiting

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation, Lake Worth Florida, Palm Beaches

In GOD’S Kingdom, waiting on the LORD is always rewarding. We will receive supernatural energy and strength we need for godly living if we wait on GOD’S timetable with our issues.

When we are overburdened with our responsibilities, we could be tempted to get out of step with GOD. He may be telling us to keep a steady pace, but we may start lagging behind. And sometimes our schedules leave us little time to think, so we make quick decisions, pushing ahead of what GOD may want for us.

In either case, we risk becoming weary, operating in our own strength. But patiently waiting on GOD will bring us the physical and emotional energy we need to keep going.

Psalm 33:20
Our soul waits on the LORD. He is our help and our shield.

Our omniscient and omnipotent GOD is always right on time! His delays are never His denials. Won’t you put your trust in His perfect timing today?

Blessings,

Faith Muscles

L'Chaim Messianic Congregation, Lake Worth Florida, Palm Beaches

Almost every believer in Yeshua at one time or another will make the statement: “I wish I had great faith!”

Faith is like a muscle. In order for your muscles to become strong, you must exercise them. There is work involved. You can’t just wish for it to happen.

We are to believe GOD not only for salvation through YESHUA but also for everything in our lives! Faith is actually a process that involves increasing degrees of trust throughout.

Elijah was a man of great faith. He saw increased challenges as opportunities for GOD to do His work. Elijah believed GOD for the supernatural (1 King 18:22-36, check it out).

We can too, if we are obedient and willing to trust in Him. Do you want to be used by GOD? He’s not looking for perfection. He’s looking for a believer who’s willing to walk by faith and trust!

2 Corn. 5:7
For we walk by faith, not by sight.

Little faith hopes GOD will do what He says. Strong faith knows that He will. Great faith believes that He has already done it!
