Believe the Impossible

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

In the natural, many things are impossible but in the supernatural realm with GOD, there is nothing impossible!
GOD wants us to believe for great things—make big plans—then expect Him to do things so great that you will be left with our mouth hanging open in awe! We need to be bold in our asking, nothing is too big for our sovereign GOD!

James 4:2 tells us we have not because we ask not. When our dreams seem overwhelmingly big and we do not see how to accomplish them, we need to keep in mind that even though we do not know the way, we do know the Way-Maker! His name is GOD, the Great I Am, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End!

(Ephesians 3:20… Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us… )

Let’s be encouraged today to stretch our faith beyond our highest prayers, dreams, hopes, and desires and then watch them unfold!

Youthful Attitude

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

As believers in MESSIAH, we need to always maintain a youthful attitude; no matter how old we are! Our usefulness to the kingdom never ends no matter what age we are!  Laughter is always a good thing in life. Some of us have been hurt deeply & have emotional baggage we are carrying with us. Don’t let laughter be buried under all that, clinging to past bitterness & feelings of rejection can age us quickly. We need to lay all that down at the cross of YESHUA by forgiving others & ourselves.

This is a new year, new beginnings & with the rising of the sun every morning there is a fresh start. Each new day is another chance for our ABBA FATHER to help us smile & even laugh!

{Psalm 103:5…He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagles}…

As believers, we have the opportunity to take part in GOD’S work each & every day, being a blessing to those around us. Never give up on your dreams & working toward your goals! Remember, as soon as we settle for watching the world go by, we start to age!

Things of Old

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

As we read the verse of the day, GOD says He is doing a new thing. As we leave 2018 behind & move into a new year, GOD has for us; we will encounter all kinds of new opportunities & challenges! Facing these new challenges & developing new abilities is one of the ways we grow & mature in the LORD.

As we walk with the LORD into this new year; remember He already has been where He is leading us & He has prepared the way for us. He is Alpha & Omega (beginning & end). He is an all knowing GOD! Whatever He asks of us, let’s step out in faith & then we will see the faithfulness of our almighty GOD!

{Is. 43:18&19A…Do not remember the former things nor consider the things of old. Behold I will do a new thing}…

Don’t stay trapped in the past. Let go of what lies behind & press into the great future GOD has planned for you. He is there with you to lead you, strengthen & help you! Let’s embrace every new thing GOD brings into our lives the upcoming new year!

Touching the Heart of God

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

Prayer is simple conversation with GOD and He always wants us to take all of our needs and concerns to Him! Expressing our concerns is certainly appropriate, but the most important part of prayer is focusing on GOD Himself—loving & worshipping Him!

There are three things about ABBA that we are to ponder in our prayer time; His name, His Kingdom and His will.

YESHUA taught us the “LORD’S Prayer” which begins with “Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name” – which brings us humbly into GOD’S presence with praise and thanksgiving! Then the prayer continues, “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done”; This is when we are declaring our faith in the coming Kingdom of GOD and asking that the rule of MESSIAH be over our lives.

(Matthew 6:9-10A “In this manner, Therefore pray; Our Father in heaven, hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done… “) When we pray like this, let’s have a willing spirit! Let the words we pray be meaningful which will touch the heart of GOD every time!

Spiritual Static

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

Sometimes when listening to the radio, we can experience static. Then we try to adjust the dial to get a clearer reception. Well, our Messianic life works in a similar way. We can make a decision & then might experience a nagging sense in our spirit that it’s not the right one to choose.

We can call this “spiritual static,” which occurs when a believer is lacking godly discernment! Through the power of the Ruach Hakodesh, who dwells in every believer,  we are equipped to choose what is the best way to go!

Prayerful, scripturally grounded believers will be aware of the Holy Spirit’s warning (spiritual static) when moving forward in their lives!
{Col. 1:9…For this reason, we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding}…

Let’s pray & trust the LORD to rid our hearts of spiritual static so we are clearly receiving His assurance to move ahead!
