Forever Changed

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

A blessed day to you from Pastor Bruce & Suzi!

Have you gone through a time of trial or even a blessing that you consider “life-changing”?   Many things can cause us to feel as though our lives are somehow different, but none are as powerful as what we experience when we become redeemed, born-again, saved believers IN MESSIAH YESHUA!

From the moment that we accept YESHUA as our Savior and LORD of our lives, we are forever changed (transformed)! And, as believers, we gain even more than assurance of eternal salvation; we experience a complete life change!  We now walk in newness of life (Romans. 6:4), and we are new creatures IN MESSIAH YESHUA!

From that moment on, we have the leading of the Holy Spirit, and MESSIAH in us is our Hope of Glory (Colossians 1:27); check it out!

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in MESSIAH , he is a new creation, old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.

As believers and new creatures, we are earthly ambassadors for the LORD, and we have a calling that is eternal.   Our great Almighty GOD desires all the glory and honor for this, His wonderful plan for our salvation  (sending His only begotten Son to take our place and pay our sin debt in full).

Let’s exult His glorious Name, our soon coming King! Yes, “PTL!”

In Yeshua’s Name. Amen.

With lots of prayers, love & hugs, Shalom!

God’s Strength Is Greater

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

A blessed day to you from Pastor Bruce & Suzi!

Most people don’t like to talk about their own actual weaknesses!   But, in today’s verse, we find Apostle Paul boasting in his weakness!

Why would Paul do that?  Because he knew that GOD’S strength was great in the midst of his infirmity!

We all have weak areas in our lives. We need to never rely on our own strength, but in prayer, ask ABBA to give us His strength in our weaknesses! When we cry out to Abba FATHER, He is more than willing to give us the strength we need. His grace (unmerited favor) is always more than sufficient to see us through.

2 Corinthians 12:9
Each time He said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of MESSIAH can work through me.”

May GOD’S power be made perfect in your weakness today. Yes!

In Yeshua’s Name. Amen! With tons of prayers, hugs & love, shalom!

Rebuilding Passion

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

A greatly blessed day to you from Pastor Bruce & Suzi!

As children of the Most High GOD, He would like us to be like a city on a hill, the light of the world, shining brightly in the darkness with the love of YESHUA and His message of redemption (Matt. 5:14-15).

As we learned recently, it is possible for our fire to cool, which greatly affects our witness!  So, let’s be aware of where we are…

Is our walk with YESHUA less dynamic than it used to be?   Think back on the zeal you had for YESHUA when you were first  saved.   If we have let our flame go out, let’s honestly acknowledge it and do something about it, such as get back in the Word, spend time in daily prayer and get to really know your heavenly FATHER.

Ask the Holy Spirit to help you refocus your attention.

1 Timothy 4:15
Meditate on these things, give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all.

Is your faith walk lacking true excitement and fervor? If so, start today to saturate your mind with the principles of GOD and let Him use your fire to draw others to Him andwatch His favor be upon you! Yes!

In Yeshua’s Name. Amen With lots of prayers, hugs & love, shalom!

Habit of Trust

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

Good day to you from Pastor Bruce & Suzi!

Do you find yourself asking GOD what He is doing in your life and in your walk with Him, not always understanding? Well, if we always understood we would have no need for trust.  You may find yourself asking questions like: “What does my future hold?” or “Will I ever see my breakthrough?”

We have to learn to trust our heavenly FATHER, especially when we don’t understand His ways and/or what might be happening in our lives!  We need to become comfortable with the unanswered questions.   We need to relax and get comfortable trusting and believing GOD (the One who does know!).

Make it a habit of trusting. Even if you only see one step ahead of you, take that step, and then trust the guidance of the Holy Spirit to show you the next step!

Isaiah 55:8-9
For my thoughts are not your thoughts nor are your ways My ways, say the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways. My thoughts than your thoughts.

If your answer is delayed, trust and know His timing IS Always perfect! GOD’S thoughts and ways are not ours, and His are higher and wiser, even when we don’t understand! Yes!

In Yeshua’s Name. Amen.

With lots of prayers, hugs & love, Shalom!

Endless Compassion

Encouraging Words with Pastor Bruce & Suzi Elman

GOD’S care for us extends to all the details of our lives. He knows when we are hurting and wants to offer comfort to us. His compassion is personal, continuous and always available! The Holy Spirit, who lives inside each and every believer in Yeshua, also comforts us. He is there to comfort and console us anytime, day and night.

Consider how the actually immeasurable compassion of the FATHER was demonstrated through YESHUA’S life. YESHUA met Peter’s betrayal with forgiveness.  Thomas’s doubts were answered by YESHUA Himself (John 20:27). Our mistakes won’t stop YESHUA from loving us.  Know & Believe this!

2 Corinthians 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our MESSIAH YESHUA, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.

GOD’S comfort and care are adequate for anything we face (declining health, our finances, family troubles, etc.!) GOD’S Word tells us we are to comfort one another as we are comforted. In this troubled world we live in, there are people all around us who are in need of help.

Sooo… to whom can you show compassion today in your corner of the world?

Love & Blessings,
